The Ski World Cup starts into the new season with the Giant Slaloms in Sölden on the Rettenbach Glacier on 28.10.+29.10.2023. That’s why we have compiled an overview of the 90 races in our calendar for the Alpine Ski World Cup 2023/2024. You will also find useful links to results lists, the status in the individual disciplines, in the overall World Cup, the teams, etc. In addition, there are interesting and spectacular videos of the competitions on our Instagram account.

News in the World Cup Winter 2023/2024
This World Cup winter there are again some innovations. After the start in Sölden, this autumn we will be going to the opening in the speed competitions on the glacier in Zermatt / Breuil Cervinia for the first time since last year’s cancellation. There will be 2 downhill runs each for men and women.
Then it’s off to Hochgurgl for the men, where a World Cup slalom will take place for the first time. For the men, a 2nd USA race series in Palisades Tahoe and Aspen is on the schedule again at the end of February and beginning of March. The women will race 2 new Giant Slaloms in Tremblant in Canada.
All parallel competitions have been cancelled as announced. World Cup races in Lake Louise cannot take place due to lack of funding. The planned new discipline of Team-Combined will not take place this winter after all and has been replaced by races in Kitzbühel and Crans-Montana.
Classics and World Cup Finals 2023/2024
Classics such as the Hahnenkamm Races in Kitzbühel, Lauberhorn Races in Wengen, the Night Race this winter again 2x in Schladming, Adelboden, Gröden / Val Gardena with Saslong, the Stelvio in Bormio and Tofane in Cortina d’Ampezzo are of course not be missed as absolute spectacles and crowd pullers.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is back on the schedule for men with 2 Super-G races and for women with the infamous Kandahar downhill in February 2024.
The World Cup final will take place in Saalbach – Hinterglemm in March 2024. The FIS Alpine Ski World Championships 2025 will also be held here. The season finale will be extended to two weekends for the first time this year. This means that even more ski fans can celebrate the awarding of the much sought-after crystal globes with the ski stars.
