Malga Panciana – Ometto
In the Madonna di Campiglio ski area, the old Ometto 2-seater chairlift has been replaced by a new 6-seater chairlift. The new Malga Panciana – Ometto lift with its wonderful, heated seats has a significantly higher capacity of 1,600 people per hour. This will significantly improve the flow in the ski area. The valley station is located at an altitude of 1850 metres on the Orso Bruno lift.
But there is more good news, as several slopes have also been improved, such as the Sghirlat, Ometto 1 and 2 and Orso Bruno slopes. There is also a new restaurant in the Malghet Aut area with a panoramic terrace and magnificent views of the Brenta Dolomites. A bar, high-tech workshop and a heated ski depot with more than 800 lockers round off the perfect ski-in ski-out offer between the Folgarida and Belvedere cable car mountain stations.

Kronplatz / Olang
Plateau
The old 6-seater chairlift, which was also called Plateau, will be replaced by a new 8-seater chairlift in Olang for the 2024/2025 season. The new lift can transport 3,600 winter sports enthusiasts per hour. That’s significantly more than before and waiting times will be shorter so you can spend more time on the slopes. The ride up only takes 4.20 minutes and you can enjoy the comfortable heated seats and even the new heated backrest. It’s almost a shame that the ride is so short 😉. Furthermore, there is a weather-protection cover if the weather isn’t so nice.

It replaces the previous 4-seater chairlift and now takes 2,400 people per hour up to 2,116 metres above sea level at a speed of 5 metres per second in just 2:50 minutes. However, the modernised lift is not the only new feature. A new fun park with a SkiMovie course has also been built in Jochtal so that children and youngsters can have even more fun.

San Martino di Castrozza
Valcigolera
The replacement of the old 2-seater Valcigolera chairlift with a 10-passenger cable car is one of the investments to modernise the entire San Martino di Castrozza – Passo Rolle ski area. The new gondola lift, which can transport 1,500 winter sports enthusiasts per hour, glides comfortably to the summit of Cima Tognola at an altitude of 2,383 metres in 3.5 minutes. The ‘Direct Drive’ system utilises energy more efficiently. The cable car is also less visible to the surrounding area as it now only has 6 pylons instead of the previous 10. The lift is scheduled to open in December 2024, when the new 2024/2025 season begins.
But the San Martino di Castrozza ski resort is not finished yet! The plan is to connect the two ski areas of San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle to make the area even more attractive. We will keep you up to date on all developments.

In Breuil-Cervinia, they love speed and comfort. That’s why the old Goillet chairlift has been replaced and skiers will be able to use the new super-fast 6-seater Goillet chairlift from the 2024/2025 season. The new lift is not only 6 minutes faster than the old one, but is also much more comfortable thanks to ergonomic and heated seats and a cover for bad weather conditions.
When the ski area is not so busy, the chairlift automatically adjusts its speed with the EcoDrive system, thus saving energy. The new lift also features the Direct Drive system, making it not only safer, but also quieter and more climate-friendly than its predecessor.

Livigno
Mottolino and Monte Sponda
Livigno is one of the places where the Winter Olympics will be held in 2026 (snowboarding in the Livigno Snow Park) and therefore work has already begun on improving the lift infrastructure. Good news for all winter sports enthusiasts for the 2024/2025 winter season, as there are now 2 new lifts available in Livigno.
The first is the Mottolino, a 10-seater cable car that is much faster and more comfortable than the old one it is replacing. In addition to the increase in capacity to 3,200 passengers per hour and the increase in speed to 6 metres per second, the flow at the valley station will be significantly faster. This is because guests can now board three different gondolas at the same time. In summer, this also makes access much easier for mountain bikers and hikers.
The second improvement in Livigno concerns the new 8-seater Monte Sponda chairlift. Its capacity has been increased from 2,400 to 3,200 passengers per hour. Naturally, the new lift has heated seats for ultimate comfort on the ascent. Livigno is therefore not only ready for the new Olympic athletes in 2026, but also for the new generation of winter sports enthusiasts and mountain lovers.

Alta Badia
Braia Fraida
In the Dolomites, in Corvara to be precise, hard work has been done this summer to renovate the old Braia Fraida lift from 1994. The result is a new 6-seater chairlift with heated seats and covers that connects Corvara with Alta Badia La Villa and Alta Badia San Cassiano. This provides you with a comfortable connection to sunny and wide slopes in winter and quiet hiking trails and access to mountain bike trails in summer, as bikes can now also be transported on the new chairlift.

Arabba Fodom Dolomites
Antercrëp
Unlike in the past, today we have to spend less and less time in the ever faster and more comfortable lifts in order to spend our holiday time skiing on the slopes. This is also the case in Arabba. There, the old Antercrëp 2-seater chairlift from 1982 has been replaced by a detachable 6-seater chairlift. Now you only need 2:20 minutes to reach the mountain station and make more beautiful descents. Long waiting times at the new Antercrëp lift are also a thing of the past, as the new lift now transports 1,800 people per hour..

In the Ultental Valley in the Schwemmalm ski area, all winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to a new lift, the Schwemmeregg 6-seater chairlift. At 5 metres per second, this new high-speed chairlift transports 2,200 skiers and snowboarders per hour to the mountain station. Almost 40% faster than before. It replaces the old 4-seater chairlift from 1997, and the weather-protection covers provide additional comfort.
