Vorarlberg can be divided into six holiday regions: the ski areas Stuben and Lech-Zürs with the newly created connection to Warth-Schröcken are part of the most successful ski resorts and enjoy a worldwide reputation. With 97 lifts, 340 km of groomed slopes and 200 km of freeride runs up to 2,800 m above sea level. Brandnertal, Klostertal and the Grosse Walsertal as well as the city of Bludenz offer 23 cable cars and 85 km of ski slopes. The ski area Sonnenkopf in the Klostertal and the slopes in the Brandnertal focus especially on the needs of families. In the Grossen Walsertal the ski areas Damüls, Faschina, Raggal and Sonntag-Stein are located. The region Bodensee offers a balanced contrast in Vorarlberg with the cities Dornbirn, Hohenems, Feldkirch and Bregenz on the one hand and the ski areas in Laterns and Bödele on the other hand. The Bregenzerwald provides us with a unique experience in the natural snow with its 91 lifts and 255 km of pistes up to 2,600 m above sea level. The ski area in the Kleinwalsertal starts directly in the village and extends to 2,200 m above sea level. On the 128 km groomed slopes with 46 cable cars, every winter sports enthusiast will find happiness. The ski areas Silvretta Montafon, Gargellen, Kristberg, Golm and Silvretta-Bielerhöhe guarantee a high level of sport experience in the middle of the great outdoors of the Montafon in Vorarlberg.
