The ski areas Damüls-Mellau-Faschina, Warth-Schröcken, Diedamskopf Au-Schoppernau, Bödele-Schwarzenberg, Egg-Schetteregg, Hochhäderich Hittisau-Riefensberg, Alberschwende, Niedere Andelsbuch-Bezau and Hochlitten-Riefensberg together form the winter sports world Bregenzerwald. Within this broad selection you will find family-orientated and sportive ski areas with excellent conditions for skiers, snowboarders, freeriders, tobogganers, snowshoers and of course cross-country skiers and winter hikers. The reason for this is, that the conditions for a snowy winter are excellent in the region of Bregenzerwald. Especially the freeriders and ski-tourers who can leave their tracks in the untracked powder slopes, benefit from the great location on the northern edge of the Alps, which brings the region great natural amounts of new snow. The high alpine villages Schröcken and Warth, whose ski resorts are located at 2000m altitude, are extremely snowy. On an average 11m of new snow falls here every year. Since 2014, the ski resorts of Warth – Schröcken and Lech - Zürs are connected by the Auenfeldjet-Bahn. Thus the largest ski area of Vorarlberg was created. With 92 lifts and 340 kilometers of slopes a unique skiing experience has been realized. Convince yourself of the cheerful, pleasant and down-to-earth nature of the Bregenzerwald and enjoy a high-quality winter holiday. See you soon in the Bregenzerwald.
