You are in good hands in the very family-friendly canton Obwalden in winter. The 32 km of slopes in Melchsee-Frutt consist of blue, red and black runs and 14 ski lifts. In Melchsee-Frutt the largest funpark of Central Switzerland is located. In this park kickers, rails, boxes, spins, drop-ins, treerides und much more are available. You can also enjoy night skiing or night sledding. On the Mörlialp both beginners on easy terrain and advanced skiers on the fast runs feel at ease. For only CHF 5.00 children can learn to ski and snowboard in the Zinsli Kinderland. Night skiing and night tobogganing is also offered at Mörlialp. In Langis-Glaubenberg there is a 300 m long ski lift for skiers and snowboarders. Freestylers and snowboarders are welcome in the Langispark with many obstacles. Engelberg-Titlis, the largest ski area of Central Switzerland, has got 82 km of slopes and 24 ski lifts. It is very attractive, for beginners as well as for advanced skiers. The ski area Brunni has 12 km of slopes and 5 ski lifts for skiers, snowboarders, freeriders, carvers and many more. There is something for everyone. Glaubenberg-Langis is ideal for cross-country skiers. Here are 40 cross-country trails divided into classic and skating. In Melchsee-Frut are also 15 km of cross-country trails for skating or classic cross-country skiing available. In Engelsberg-Titlis a cross-country pass is offered, as well as in Gerschnialp and at the Trübsee. Numerous winter hiking trails, snowshoe tours and nursery slopes are available in Obwalden.
