About the ski resort Zillertal Arena

In winter, the Zillertal Arena is one of the most popular destinations for winter sports enthusiasts and bon vivants. As the largest ski resort in the Zillertal, the Arena with the ski areas Königsleiten, Gerlos, Zell am Ziller and Gerlosplatte has a total of 51 ski lifts and 139 kilometers of ski slopes for all abilities. In the three funparks “kreuzweise” in Zell, the Funpark Gerlosplatte and the “Arena Snowpark and Halfpipe” in Gerlos you can treat yourself to an extra dose of action. On the five racetracks you can measure your speed or you can enjoy some family time on the easy slopes in Gerlosstein am Hainzenberg. Since time immemorial tobogganing during the day or at night is part of the fun in the Zillertal Arena. The absolute novelty in the toboggan area is the Alpine Coaster, an alpine roller coaster with lots of waves, steep curves and jumps which guarantees fun for the whole family. For cross-country skiers the region Zell – Gerlos is a dream. In addition to numerous skating and classic cross-country trails, the highest trail on the Gerlosplatte on an altitude of 1,640 in the National Park Hohe Tauern can be found here.
