The following General Terms & Conditions of Reservation are valid between SNOWELL International AG (hereafter called “SNOWELL”) and the customer (hereafter called “customer”). They are limited exclusively to the reservation/booking (hereafter referred to as “reservation”) of winter sports equipment (hereafter referred to as “rental equipment”) and additional products (e.g. ski lockers) of sports shops as well as winter sports and leisure activities (hereafter referred to as “activities”) of ski schools, guides, etc. (hereafter referred to as “providers”) via the website www.snowell.com (hereafter called “internet”).
SNOWELL acts exclusively as an intermediary. In case of a reservation, the contract is concluded exclusively between the booking customer and the respective sports shop/provider.
SNOWELL operates an internet-based reservation system for the advanced booking of winter sports equipment as well as additional products and activities. SNOWELL uses an encrypted connection “SSL” (Secure Socket Layer) which creates a secure connection between the customer’s internet browser and the SNOWELL reservation system. This reservation system includes the presentation and bookability of rental equipment, additional products and activities of the sports shops/providers cooperating with SNOWELL. After completion of the booking and payment process, SNOWELL is concerned on the one hand that the customer receives a document (voucher) with which he can assert the claim of his booked service at the sports shop/provider and on the other hand that the reservation information is forwarded to the sports shop/provider selected by the customer.
Promptly after each completed reservation, SNOWELL sends the customer the link to his reservation via e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the reservation. Using this link, the customer can print the invoice or the voucher, the contact details of the sports shop/provider, a map of the area and the shop’s opening hours.
The sports shop/provider is obliged to accept all reservations and to provide the booked service to the customer. The actual contract is concluded exclusively between the customer and the respective sports shop/provider and arises when the booked service is used.
Prices include all those known taxes and fees applicable at the time of booking. Prices can be displayed and paid in CHF and in EUR. Price differences between the sports shop and SNOWELL may arise due to late or incorrect reporting by the sports shops. They are not within the sphere of influence and liability of SNOWELL.
4.1 The rental equipment is divided into various categories (stars) and age groups (children, teenagers, adults). The actual selection of brands and models of ski and snowboard equipment takes place on site in the sports shop. The additional details per person (age, height, shoe size, weight, skiing ability, head circumference) given when selecting the rental equipment are not binding. They serve the sports shop merely as information for the provision of the rental equipment.
4.2 The activities are divided into different categories (group course, private course, packages), age groups (children, teenagers, adults) and number of days/hours. The actual placement in a group or assignment to a teacher takes place directly on site. The additional information per person (age, skiing ability, language, etc.) is not binding. They serve the provider only as information for group allocation or assignment of a teacher.
SNOWELL has special offers for families such as “children up to 10 years rent free” and “free helmet for children and teenagers”. These offers are individual and listed at each ski rental shop.
The following offers apply:The child-free-offer is NOT valid with rental of all kinds of boots, toboggans, safety equipment and rental of ski lockers/ski depot.
All booked children up to and including 14 years of age (in France + Andorra up to and including 13 years of age) receive a free helmet for the rental period!
6.1 Booking fee ski hire
In addition to the prices given, SNOWELL calculates a booking fee between EUR 1.00 and EUR 3.00 and between CHF 2.00 and CHF 5.00 respectively. The scaling is dependent on the number of booked rental days. The booking fee is independent of the number of persons and, rather, is valid per reservation/booking.
6.2 Booking fee ski school
In addition to the prices, SNOWELL charges a booking fee between EUR 2.00 and EUR 5.00 or CHF 2.50 and CHF 6.00. The staggering is calculated on the basis of the booking value per reservation:
7.1. SNOWELL offers the customer the possibility of paying by bank transfer to a SNOWELL account. This payment possibility only appears when ski hire reservations are completed at least 7 days before the first rental date. After the reservation, the customer receives a link to print out the invoice, which includes bank details, per e-mail. As soon as the complete payment has been received by SNOWELL, SNOWELL sends the customer a link per e-mail to print out the voucher. This payment option is not available for reservations for ski courses and other activities!
7.2. Further, the final price for the reservation can be paid by VISA (credit card and debit card), Mastercard (credit card and debit card), Carte Bleu, iDeal, Bancontact, Klarna (former Sofortüberweisung), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay or Postfinance. The processing of the payment takes place via an external provider (Worldline Financial Services (Europe) S.A.). SNOWELL is a PCI DSS certified company and therefore does not record any payment details. Upon payment according to section 6.2., the customer receives via e-mail a link to print out the voucher.
In the case of subsequent bookings or refunds, SNOWELL is authorised, in agreement with the customer, to credit or charge any resulting differences which occur to the customer’s payment option.
By using the coupons of SNOWELL, the coupon holder accepts the following general and additional coupon terms and conditions, whereby, in addition to these terms and conditions, the general reservation terms and conditions of SNOWELL International AG apply.
