About the ski resort Oberstdorf

Ski hire Oberstdorf online - Oberstdorf is one of the largest communities in Bavaria and the most southern village of Germany. Oberstdorf offers nature lovers a magnificent view of over 400 mountain peaks. Also traditions and customs are still very important in Oberstdorf. Winter sport enthusiasts will find excellent ski fun in the German-Austrian ski resort Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf. The 5 ski mountains of the ski region Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf offer limitless snow fun for all skill levels. In the area of the Fellhorn-Kanzelwand 31 km of perfectly groomed slopes await all skiers and snowboarders. The ski area is accessible by 14 ski lifts and has an Easypark and a Crystal Ground Funpark for snowboarders and passionate freestylers. Challenging mogul slopes and a superpipe provide action and fun. On the 2,224 m high Nebelhorn one can explore 13 kilometers of slopes, including the longest downhill run of Germany, with 7.5 km. Snowboarders will find their kick on the Nebelhornpipe. A good opportunity to try out snowbikes, skifox and air boards is offered in the NTC Park. Those who like to do it in the old-fashioned way, can race down the mountain in the direction of Oberstdorf on the natural toboggan run. A popular ski area for families and beginners is Söllereck. Here you can find an Easy Funpark and a nice practice area for all newcomers on the slopes and also the Allgäu Coaster. A hot tip for freeriders is the Walmendingerhorn. Deep snowy slopes and a breathtaking panorama invite you to draw the first tracks in the snow. The Ifen on the other side offers gentle slopes for beginners and challenging steep slopes for athletic skiers and snowboarders and is also popular with winter hikers. As a former host for the Winter Olympics in the area of Nordic skiing, Oberstdorf offers a trail network of 75 km. Another highlight in Oberstdorf is a visit to the Erdinger Arena, which is famous because of the Four Hills Tournament or the Heini-Klopfer-ski jump. The lift takes you directly to the takeoff where you have a breathtaking view towards the target area.
