About the ski resort Orcieres Merlettes

Ski hire Orcieres Merlettes online - Orcières Merlette 1850 is a modern, lively and functional winter sports resort, situated in the French Maritime Alps. Here one will find everything one needs for a perfect winter holiday. The approximately 100 km of well-groomed slopes for all levels can be reached by modern ski lifts. For all fans of the Nordic sports 43 km of groomed cross-country trails are available, which lead past beautiful alpine lakes. In the snowpark, which is located at an altitude of 2,300 m, one can admire snowboarders and freestylers practicing their latest jumps and moves. There is also a big air here on which one can land softly in case a trick is unsuccessful. Also exciting for skiers are the slalom runs, the boarder cross tracks and the downhill course on which one reaches the valley rapidly. Those who do not yet feel secure on skis are in good hands in the Opoualand. The children’s land is located at the Rocherousse-plateau and offers numerous possibilities to learn skiing in a playful way and with lots of joy and enthusiasm. In the center of Orcières Merlette 1850 is the sports center “La Grande Ourse”. A modern indoor swimming pool with glass roof, a fitness center, an ice rink, a bowling center and a cinema make sure you will not be bored, even if the weather is not so good for once.
