Enjoy the 142 km of wide pistes of the ski area Dachstein-West. Dachstein-West is famous for its varied descents. No ski-highways, as you see in other ski areas, but many fun slopes like the Rock'n Roll, the Wilde Hilde and the Donnergroll. Also moguls, speed meters, wave runs and snow cross areas belong to the repertoire of Dachstein. Variety is guaranteed! For off-piste skiers and freeriders the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein is a dream come true. More than 30 km of fine powder snow on the longest run in Austria. The Free Sports Arena has been chosen by the prestigious magazine SnowPlanet to top ski resort for the freerider scene. With numerous runs, cliff drops and jumps Dachstein convinces everyone. In Eisgrube, Schönberg and Imisl descents with up to 1,500 meters are possible and this requires concentration and condition. An alternative for the fast descents of the freeriders, is the quiet sliding of the cross-country skiers. In Bad Goisern, Gosau and Obertauern are well-groomed trails that allow you to explore the beautiful nature of Dachstein.
