Obergurgl - Hochgurgl is located at the end of the Tyrolean Ötztal. The ski area is composed of two sub-areas: Obergurgl and Hochgurgl, which are connected by the top-Express. The returners and beginners rather reside in Obergurgl, because there they will find beautiful blue runs and practice lifts for learning. In addition to the glacier ski areas, the ski area in Obergurgl - Hochgurgl is by far one of the first to open the season. In total 112 km of slopes are available for the ski enthusiasts, which can be reached by 25 modern lifts and cable cars. There are 35 km of blue, 55 km of red and 20 km of challenging black runs. To mention some: winter hiking on a total of 12 km of beautiful winter hiking trails, ice skating, curling, entering the Erlebnisbad, tobogganing and even once per week night tobogganing, which can be recommended as it promises lots of fun.
