The landmark of Celerina, the village which is located next to St. Moritz, is the San Gian church from the 14th century. Celerina is considered the place with the most sunshine hours and it is situated at the foot of the ski area Corviglia. Corviglia is part of the Engadin St. Moritz snow sport region. Here a total of 350 km in four major and five smaller ski areas are available. Corviglia offers 163 km of slopes, divided into 42 km of blue, 87 km of red and 34 km of black runs. As you can see, there is enough space and there are enough offers for all levels. 22 modern lifts and cable cars take the guests quickly and safely up on the mountain. The children are cared for by the mascot Snowli. It takes good care of the little ones, so they can learn to draw their first turns in the snow with a lot of variety and fun. The Snowpark “Crowland” is a sensation for freestylers and snowboarders. There is a beginner park with more than 30 obstacles and if one feels up to it, one can go on to the Jibber, the medium park. Those who would like to measure their speed, can let off steam on the high-speed track. If you want to rest a bit or have something to eat, then numerous huts around Celerina are waiting to pamper their guests with regional specialities from the Engadin. In the beautiful winter landscape of Celerina one can also go cross-country skiing. On the ice rink you can spend some time with activities such as ice skating, curling, playing hockey or Bavarian curling and experience a wonderful winter day.
