Breil / Brigels is one of 3 mountain villages in the Rhine Valley of Grisons, the Surselva. It is very popular with families. From Breil / Brigels, the centre of this holiday region, advanced cable cars lead up to the ski area. There are a total of more than 50 km of pistes, which are divided into 10 km of blue, 33 km of red and finally 10 km of black pistes. Modern snow making equipment makes sure there is always enough snow. 11 km of ski routes await the enthusiastic freeriders. In the Snowiland in Breil / Brigels also the young skiers are in good hands. The ski school takes perfect care of their little pupils, so they can easily learn the basics of skiing during their stay. The snowboarders and freestylers are attracted by the Snowpark Surselva. Here everyone will find the suitable obstacles, beginners as well as advanced and professional skiers and snowboarders. Every Friday night skiing is possible on the 2.3 km long route to Breil / Brigels. Besides ski slopes there are, in addition, also 15 km of cross-country trails. Anyone who would like to experience the wonderful winter landscape and the nature while walking, can take the advantage of the cleared winter hiking trails. When snowshoeing they have come up with something extra for the winter guests, namely a treasure hunt! Snowtubing and snowbiking is also offered, so one can speed up here. Here is a lot of dynamics!
